I suggest to you, today, a stopover in a little known archipelago, in a large part spared by mass tourism (and tourism in general), a place that's so remarkable that you can at the same time meet one of the most authentic Indian ethnic groups in the Caribbean, admire and buy, if you feel like it samples of some of the most remarkable traditional handicrafts, the famous Mola... and also enjoy some of the most beautiful islands one can imagine, coral islands just above water, as beautiful as the most beautiful islands in the Maldives or the Tuamotu, sparkling sand spits, planted with palm trees lightly caressed by the trade winds, and surrounded with turquoise blue water.

Between me and the San Blas islands, it has been love at first sight: I have spent there several months; here, large tourist crowds will never come, and the archipelago certainly will give you, if you know how to respect these places and its people, a unique experience, meeting both dream landscapes and a remarkable and fascinating people.
