Hello everyone,

On October 4, I hauled Banana Split out in Apataki Atoll, where a careening yard in an exceptional location has been created a few years ago; a small plane brought me back to Papeete, where I took the Air Tahiti Nui flight from Papeete to Paris. My program on arrival : a promotional tour. French TV viewers saw me on the show of very popularMichel Drucker on October30, and during the brief and amusing appearance that I made in Quotidien, a very successful French show by Yann Barthes, where young Panayotis insisted that I was Tom Hanks (it would not have displeased me, but in fact no ? Life is like a box of chocolates.

French TV viewers willprobably see me in a few more programs before the end of the year but our main occupation is to crisscross the France as part of our tour of lectures with Connaissance du Monde; meanwhile, we also enjoy the colors and the lights that fall on our mountain in Puy-de-Dôme, over sheep, fields and forests and the big house buried under loads of Virginia creeper.

Our book « Escales en Polynésie » has been released, he seems to please and it seems to be well received; so much the better, as Francette and I (and several photographers who?ve come to complete our work) have put in it all our love for Polynesia, especially its distant Islands, the subject of the film that we present during the tour. I'll be happy to autograph this book to you if you come to one of our lectures. Due to the tour, we will not spend much time at the Salon Nautique de Paris, just two Saturdays.

As usual, we will be happy to enjoy the beauties of our stopovers in France, Nancy, Dijon, Bourg-en-Bresse to begin with; there will also be a couple of gourmet meals, unforgettable I am sure; and the pleasure of seeing every day hundreds of spectators Each time, I feel like I?m taking them along for a journey with me.

And yet, over the hills of Auvergne, autumn has settled, and we love it!
