Hello everyone,

Paris Boat Show, D-Day-5

Friday 5 for professionals, the next day to the public, NAUTIC, the Paris Boat Show, opens its doors; I told you last month how we have come to take our own booth there. Finding us is easy : Hall 1, lane L, booth 50; you can not go wrong, a wall of the booth will be covered with the photo of our calendar this month : of course it would have been more striking to bring Banana Split smack in the middle of the boat show ... but it feels much better on the waters of the Pacific! I will be frequently present on the stand, and if I have to leave for a shooting (e.g. for the shooting of very popular "Vivement Dimanche" show, shot on the 10th and broadcast on Sunday 14, our hostess Chris will tell you the time when I'll return.

Francette to date finally see the end of the tunnel: the rehabilitation of our website that had totally crashed : we had to change hostin, and upload again thousands of pages, photos and video; unfortunately our forum has vanished into the limbo of computers, we will soon be inaugurating a new one...

To celebrate this rebirth, our site offers, free to all purchasers of the integral of 12 films called "New Collection", the 13th movie, Canada, which has just been published; and for all buyers of the book of photography "40 Ports of Call, 40 years of navigation", shipping is offered; at the Boat show, a film will be offered to buyers of the "New collection" or book.

November has passed very fast; two short trips to Italy to record - in the region of Venice - the song that I may sing at the Sanremo Festival in February or to shoot the opening lines of a program for Rai Due, Sereno Variabile, shot at the Weather Centre of the Air Base of Pratica di Mare, near Rome. In France, leaves have remained surprisingly late on trees, there are even little flowers in the fields of Auvergne, from where I am writing you this letter ; on the other hand, holly is way ahead and resplendent on a hedge near our house.

Immediately after the boat show begins our tour of lectures for Connaissance du Monde: a few days in Touraine before Christmas, and then in February and March, the biggest part of the tour in Switzerland and in various regions of France.
