Madagascar, the island where I was born, sometimes makes you think of another planet, with its unique landscape, flora and fauna, and its nineteen tribes. But this continent-island is not just a naturalist's or an ethnologist's dream : it is a real island, it's beautiful, and it's time to visit it : after years of isolation, it opens up today to various flavours of tourism, from the simplest to the most luxurious.
