From paradise to paradise...

After leaving Banana Split again at the Apataki shipyard in the Tuamotu islands, I flew back to Paris where, more than ever a nomad at heart, I do not have a home any more, but where I resort to short-term rentals, a possibility that did not exist a few years ago; seen from a seventh floor (that I occupy for two days, the time to shot a televison show), with a panorama on the Bois de Boulogne, urban life is almost acceptable ... which does not prevent us from seeking tranquility; for example on the lakes of the Bois de Boulogne, a pretty little island with a restaurant, Chalet du Lac: beautiful autumn colors!

And of course, to gain strength before embarking on ou Connaissance du Monde lectures tour, there is our !farm in the Massif Central, to which I remain attached. The region is particularly beautiful in the colors of the fall, even if they are not as spectacular as in Quebec!

So you should find me Sunday 5 on the set of Michel Drucker, a few days later in the show C'est au program, in the morning on France 2, and as the Guest of TV5 Monde, the Grands du Rire, and some other radio and television programs...

On November 8, we will begin our annual tour for Connaissance du Monde, forty lectures in the northern half of France, from Nantes to Metz and Dunkirk. The last week will be marked on Monday, December 4 by an exceptional lecture in Paris, at the House of Oceans of the Oceanographic Institute, an extraordinary place that comes straight out of Jules Verne, even Harry Potter!

Do not miss our film Cuba est une fête, released these days on the Warner Home Video label. I present it at length, with successive chapters concerning our 7 journeys to Cuba from 1968 to 2017, on the Futura-Voyages website, of which I am one of the godfathers, with, among others, Yann Arthus-Bertrand, Jean-Louis Etienne, Isabelle Autissier, Cédric Villani ...

And let's see what November is worth.
