Little drone is back!!

Good news : after a brief sojourn at the lagoon's bottom, the Little Drone is back ; rather, his brother, as we have been able to benefit a guarantee proposed by the builder : I must congratulate DJI's support, they've always answered in a matter of hours, and they've agreed to exchange the drone although its immersion was caused by a piloting error of mine. What took the longest was to send the defective drone to the support in Holland, but they quickly sent me one back. I hope I won't have to resort to the second and last chance included in this guarantee.



Then the wind picked up, a little too strong for the drone, and I haven't yet been able to shoot more than these few images on wonderful Hirifa beach, in Fakarava atoll. I hope I will be able to send you more aerial views in the near future.


Life goes on ; we had to return to Papeete for a few days, leaving the boat under the care of Mathieu, in the small nautical club called Pakokota Yacht Services, which he has created in Fakarava, decidedly a very pleasant atoll, with its beaches, its small guest houses and simple restaurants, an ideal spot for bicycle rides

And we are going back to spend three more weeks in one of our favorite atolls, after stocking up with fruits and vegetables at Comptoir Cécile, that provides us regularly with boxes of papaya, mango, pineapple, sweet potatoes and ginger : were going to enjoy them for a few more weeks before returning to Paris at the beginning of October for the release of our new film dedicated to Cuba and of a weekly agenda for 2018, full of great photographs !
