November 2010
Hello everyone,
Konichiwa to all of you...
Thats's the way they say hello in Japanese, and we just returned from a week of shooting in the land of the Rising Sun, in search of the bright red leaves of autumn, on the island of Honshu... We filmed ceremonies, ventured on mountain roads that resulted impassable, tasted once again meals of which we still do not know what they were made of, and enjoyed the beauty of Fuji-Yama in the early morning by the side of a mountain lake. We shall doubtlessly return to Japan in spring, to film the cherry trees in bloom on the island of Kyushu.
And here we are again in Paris, for a whole series of big novelties:
- In our series Iles... était une fois (Once upon an Island) HD, you'll find two completely new films, dedicated, one to the Distant Islands of Polynesia (Australs, Tuamotu, Gambier), the other one to my native island, Return to Madagascar. Our collection in High Definition now consists of 9 films, which are henceforth published in the form of "combo" including the Blu-Ray disc and the DVD in case you are not equipped yet for High definition.
- At the same time, these 9 HD films are henceforth also available in sets of 3 Blu-Ray / DVD combos.
- I have also created a new series of which I had dreamt for a long time, Naturellement (Naturally) : the most beautiful high definition footage from our shootings, backed with beautiful relaxing music, and without commentary : in brief, it is the best thing that can happen to your HDTV and your Blu-Ray player, along three themes : Animals, Flowers and Plants, and Wonders of the Wold. These three films, each lasting approximately one hour and twenty minutes, are available either separately or in a very attractive Set of three Blu-Ray discs, a perfect present for Christmas and new Year holidays...
