Hello everyone,
A very busy month of April...
After filming the show "Les Enfants de la Télé" (Children of Television) – which will air on France 2 this Sunday, May 3rd at 6 pm, with Miss France (also Miss Tahiti), our friend Alex Vizorek, and other guests (they unearthed a number of archival clips that had previously eluded us).
After "Les Enfants de la Télé," we went to "Les Enfants du Paradis" (Children of Paradise): it's on the street in Boulogne that bears this name that its found the Sud Radio studio where we recorded a superb program, "Les Clés d'une Vie" (The Keys to a Life), with the ever-faithful Jacques Pessis.
And then we hit the road for the last ten days of our tour with our film "Escales aux Caraïbes" (Stopovers in the Caribbean) and the organization AltaÏr. We filmed in some beautiful venues and visited some lovely sites in France, like Place Stanislas, and enjoyed countryside walks, such as those around Roanne.
These tours, often held in cinemas like CGR, offer a chance to discover what goes on behind the scenes, have fun with the posters of box office hits (like the Michael Jackson biopic, The Smurfs, or even Ratatouille), or indulge in the ritual of popcorn…
Thank you to everyone who came to see our film and get their copy of our photo album, "Caribbean Stopovers," signed.
And thank you also to the more than 350,000 people who watched our short videos on Facebook and Instagram this month (Antoine's Travels), and to those who downloaded the re-recordings of seven of my songs from 1966 from music platforms or our website.
Today we're returning to the farm in Auvergne, where strawberries, artichokes, lettuce, herbs, and soon green beans, zucchini, and raspberries will be growing happily.
