December 2006
Hello everyone,
Hello, everybody! Today, for once I invite you to share a drink with me on the beach of motu Araoo; bring the peanuts, I'll bring the French pastis drink, or maybe a little rum punch ... ( but drink with moderation !)
Blue skies and grey days alternate above Raivavae, in the Austral islands of French Polynesia. The sky sometimes looks like the clouds are shooting fireworks!
After a pretty hectic October, filled with long distance travel, November has been much quieter. I have stayed in Raivavae, reading, correcting reading again and correcting once more my autobiography, Oh Yeah, which will be published in March... in French, though. I also kept working at my next films, all shot in high definition, but it looks like things are not progressing very fast in this area, the war between Blu-Ray and HD-DVD doesn't help; yet I hope to have them published, in High Definition, by the end of 2007
Christmas is near, so, for once, I send you a small present: a slide show of twenty of the most extraordinary places Francette and I have had the pleasure of filming and photographing in the past two years. May these photographs bring you a few moments of peace, and I wish these wondrous places remain accessible one day to our children !
Greetings for a wonderful December
