May 2013
Hello everyone,
What in the blue-eyed happened to April ?
Well, the first week, I know, we went to Kyushu and Shikoku, completing our filming in Japan. But we returned to France on the 8th, and I think it was yesterday morning : we are already at the beginning of a new month, a new portal, another monthly letter.
Anyway, it was great, this shooting in Japan: on the first of April, our fish was cooked and served in a ryokan (traditional inn) in Kurokawa, in a quiet valley ; in the afternoon, we were filming the colored pools, known as "hells" of Beppu, where on the next day we took a ferry to the island of Shikoku, probably one of the best preserved in Japan, with its 88 temples that pilgrims visit one after the other . Pending the release of the film, you can find a slideshow of Japan (and another one dedicated parks in the U.S.) on the Huffington Post website.
And when we arrived in France, I must say that we still have not been idle in three weeks : editing the film about Japan, which will be wonderful : it remains for me to write the comment, to translate it into Italian and English, and I will record it in Tahiti in three or four days, ; several meetings with politicians as part of my action in defense of the people whose trade is lovemaking, then recording a friendly TV program, that will released on May 12: the 150th of Chabada .. which will likely be the last one, unfortunately, the chain has decided to end the show, although it's one e few programs where one can sing for real, in a friendly atmosphere, the songs that one likes, this time, I have chosen two songs by Boris Vian: The iconic "Deserter" and the amusing "cinematographe".
We also spent three days in Southern Brittany to meet with our old friend, famous marine photographer Philip Plisson, to photography and film Doelan, Pont-Aven, Concarneau, Camaret and other wonderful places for a future book and film
