3 degrees in Melbourne, and a few hours later 35 degrees in Bangkok! A night in Oman (I added a country to the list of those I've visited - or touched in my life, and whose number I've forgotten), and here I am back in France; in the very centre of France, in fact, at the foot of the Massif Central's Puys chain, where the temperature variations are almost as great.



A few days in Paris, all the same, for a nice reunion, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the TV channel MELODY, on June 8th on the stage of the Olympia with some French starcomrades, from Dave to Michel Drucker and Alain Chamfort, from Marie-Paule Belle to Sheila or Jeane Manson. Just a few youngsters like Renaud, Goldman or Lavoine were missing, and a few big absentees like Johnny or Christophe. Normally, the evening should be broadcast on Télé Melody in a few days. We celebrated by tasting (in moderation) a bottle of wine also bearing the name of MELODY

And then off to the farm in Auvergne, where we are settled for several months. Between hot days and cooler days, we enjoy the beauty of the Combrailles. With two electrically assisted bicycles, we will have the opportunity to see some beautiful sites such as the Gour de Tazenat or the meander of Queuille; work also in the garden to cultivate raspberries, tomatoes and courgettes (Francette hopes to be able to prepare some legendary "poupetons" with the flowers and young courgette shoots.

I walk around the Combrailles sometimes wearing a lambahoany from Madagascar - I am the Malagasy from Auvergne - with from time to time a visit, like the one of Bernard and Véronique who came to visit the Massif Central in a fantastic hike. They created in 1999 in the San Blas Islands (Panama) San Blas Sailing, which offers charter sailboats (often crewed by Guna Indians, the inhabitants of the archipelago)

Our next letter will have to wait until September 1st. As in the song written by Pierre Bertrand: "Please don't disturb, we are on holiday!
