November 2009
Hello everyone,
Last month I was telling you about the beautiful coral growing around my peaceful anchorage in the Tuamotus, in Polynesia ; this month, on the contrary, will be a very busy one, as I am back in France, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of my catamaran Banana Split but also of my series of films and books called in France « Iles... était une fois » (« Once upon an island »), to promote:
- a new book of stunning photographs titled « 20 Paradis », dedicated to 20 islands, regions or countries of the World I especially enjoy. The book is in French, but it is essentially composed of photographs, whose language is international.
- three new publications in High definition : Two new films ( Australa and South-East Asia : Cambodia, Vietnam and Bali) and the HD version of my film about Tahiti, and the Society Islands : Moorea, Raiatea, Tahaa, Huahine and Bora-Bora. The two new films include, for the price of a DVD, both the DVD and the Blu-Ray (High definition) version of the film, so those of you who do not own a blu-ray reader yet can watch the film in the standard quality of DVD; and when you'll own one, you'll be able to discover the fantastic difference High definition makes.
On this occasion, I will be invited to many very popular TV programs and talk show in France, until the beginning of december where I will be present at the Paris Boat Show ( le Nautique); then I will back to Polynesia, to return on board Banana Split.
In the meantime, bye bye !
Antoine
